Risk
“When we do not live by faith, we live faithlessly. Any decision independent of God is a faithless decision. Jesus calls you to risk your life for God, but he also guarantees that God will always be waiting for you on the other side of each and every step of faith you take. God is for you. He says, “Risk your life and get more than you ever dreamed of.”
Day 7 - Servant
It’s already the 7th day. And I am looking forward to know more about this topic. It has been a fruitful week; but I have seen clearly how the enemy worked to ruin “everything”. Gah.
We are empowered for a life of service.
1. We know that there are three things we can do with our life: we can waste it, spend it or invest it. And the best use of one’s life is to invest it...
Day 6 - Servant
The right hand should not do the left foot’s duties.
Day 5 - Servant
“Discipleship is not like a career we map out for ourselves: “I’ll do this for Jesus after I get the kids through school and build my retirement fund.” We cannot arrange our service to suit ourselves; otherwise, we end up serving Jesus according to what makes sense to us.” - Jon Walker
Day 4 - Servant
“Jesus doesn’t want us to use the law as an excuse to ignore him.” -Rick Warren
Day 3 - Servant
“We give to God first, before anyone else, right off the top of our income.
And here is the promise: “Then your barns will be completely filled, and your vats will overflow with new wine.” -Rick Warren
Day 2 - Servant
“People of integrity are authentic and transparent; they act the same, no matter who is present.” - Rick Warren
Day 1 - Servant
“Jesus didn’t care if someone mistook him for a servant, and that’s why he was comfortable grabbing the towel instead of the spotlight.” - Rick Warren
